I’m so honored that you’ve taken the time to check out my blog. I’m trying my best to live a life that’s honoring to God in this crazy, hyper-sexualized, credit-based world that we live in. I’m not a preacher or a pastor. I’ve never been to seminary or church school. I’ve not always lived the way that I should’ve. I’m a dirty rotten sinner. But I’ve developed an amazing relationship with our Creator, and I hope to be an inspiration to others who are walking the same path that I am.
I’m a full-time college student and stay-at-home dad. My wife, Karen, and I are blessed with two beautiful daughters. One is nine years old and one is nine months old. Who would’ve ever guessed that this is where I’d be at this point in my life? I couldn’t be happier!
I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughters more than anything, and I love working in my garden. I love God and try to inspire others to love him as well. I’ve worn a lot of hats in my lifetime. I’ve worked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier during my time in the U.S. Navy, I’ve been a professional fire fighter, I’ve been a police officer, and I’ve held a few other jobs that were exciting and fulfilling.
Hopefully this blog will lead to some good conversations, or at least some entertaining ones. I have a tendency to be pretty blunt and straight-forward, but I’m working on that. I’m definitely open to dialogue, so if you ever disagree with me, or if you have questions about my posts or my experiences, let’s talk about it. I plan on posting on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to share my thoughts on spirituality and following Christ. I’d love it if you make comments or suggestions, and ask questions. I look forward to us growing together.
